Amanda Dornfeld, M.D.

Dr. Dornfeld comes to Sandcrest from Muncie, Indiana where she completed her family medicine residency at Ball Memorial Hospital. She is a graduate of Valparaiso University with a BS in Biology and Chemistry and Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago. She received the Outstanding Resident Teacher Award and in 2010 was awarded “Physician of the Year” at the Indiana Perinatal Center Excellence in Breastfeeding Awards.
Dr. Dornfeld enjoys all aspects of caring for families. She has a particular interest in breastfeeding support and recently completed education to be a Certified Lactation Specialist. She is involved in physician leadership at Columbus Regional Hospital and enjoys participating in Healthy Communities as a part of the Breastfeeding Coalition of Bartholomew County.
Dr. Dornfeld and her husband have three children, Luke, Noah and Violet.
