Ann James, MSN, RN, CS
Nurse Practitioner
Ann James is one of our Nurse Practitioners. She joined Sandcrest Family Medicine in November of 1993. Prior to joining Sandcrest, Ann was Director of Nursing at Columbus Health and Rehab Center. Ann is a native of Columbus and graduated from Columbus East High School. She obtained her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Nursing from Indiana University. She is Board Certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Ann has been honored numerous times including receiving an academic scholarship from Hillhaven Corporation, inducted into Sigma theta Tau honorary nursing society and belonging to Who’s Who of American Women. She is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Ann has developed special skills in physical examination, assessment, diagnosing, implementing and management of treatment plans. She enjoys providing healthcare for all ages of individuals. She also enjoys assisting the patient in practicing preventive healthcare. She has added services in the area of skin restoration, including collagen injection and microdermabrasion. She also does ear piercing.
Ann is married to Vince and they have two daughters, Elizabeth and Lauryn.
